Joseph’s Lab is wholly owned Ghanaian skincare brand currently operating from Amsterdam. They focus on using botanical and natural ingredients; mostly plant-based to formulate handmade skincare solutions based on strong scientific research to solve specific skincare needs like acne, eczema for all skin types and for both men and women.
Research and development (R&D) was central to their operations with the intention to always develop the closest to wholly natural skincare products as possible.
Joseph’s Lab did not just believe in masking the skin with products to enhance it but healing
the defects to enhance it.
Their brand story was motivated by the learnings from their parent company – Evita
Joseph (A makeup business).
They have encountered many clients who don’t just need makeup for masking but also real skin solutions to boost their confidence and reduce their makeup cost. They saw future synergies with the makeup brand but wanted a separate independent brand from the Evita Joseph Brand.

- A Monogram Logo (using the initials of the business name)
- A Logotype (using the full business name)
The logo designs showcased the richness of Josephs Lab’s brand’s story; A brand with the intentions to consistently develop the closest to wholly natural skincare products: for the conscious man and woman who did not fear, to exhibit the true beauty of her skin to the world with or without makeup.
